In this session, Texas RE enforcement staff will review self-reporting and audit discovery trends for newly registered entities. The primary focus will be on common violation trends from day one of registration to within two years of registration.
Spring Standards, Security, and Reliability Workshop - April 23
Texas RE's annual Spring Standards, Security, and Reliability Workshop will be held on April 23, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central. It will be structured around the 2025 Electric Reliability Organization (ERO) Enterprise Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP) Implementation Plan (IP). The event will be conducted both in-person at our Austin MetCenter offices and virtually via Webex.
Texas RE Quarterly Meetings - May 14
On May 14, 2025, Texas RE will hold its quarterly Member Representatives Committee; Audit, Governance, Risk, and Finance Committee; and Board of Directors meetings. Agenda information will be posted at a later date.

MRO GridEx VIII Preparation Webinar - April 10
This session will feature Ashley Wemhoff, NPPD’s Business Continuity & Drill Coordinator, and Jesse Sythe, E-ISAC’s GridEx Program Manager. They will share lessons learned from NPPD’s participation in previous GridEx exercises and discuss strategies for improving emergency response, enhancing coordination with external agencies, and applying GridEx outcomes to strengthen organizational preparedness.
Technical Talk with RF - April 21
Timothy McJunkin from the Idaho National Laboratory will highlight analysis supporting nuclear energy’s role in a stably operating electric grid, new efforts funded by the Department of Energy, and a brief outlook for the progress in advanced reactor development.
