Daniela Hammons Elected to Lead NERC CCC

NERC's Compliance and Certification Committee (CCC) is a key stakeholder group comprised of members from across North America who provide independent oversight and expert guidance on critical programs, including compliance monitoring and enforcement, organization registration, and organization certification. The CCC also provides oversight and advises the NERC Board of Trustees on compliance-related matters and acts as observers for audits of Regional Entities, helping ensure transparency and consistency across the ERO Enterprise.

At its July meeting the CCC voted to select Daniela Hammons to serve as its next chair, beginning January 1, 2027. This appointment reflects Daniela’s extensive expertise, respected leadership, and exceptional commitment to the reliability community. She currently serves as vice chair of the CCC, vice chair of Texas RE's Member Representatives Committee, and an affiliated director on Texas RE's Board of Directors.
