Independent Director Dr. Massoud Amin Resigns from Texas RE Board of Directors

Texas RE Independent Board member Dr. Massoud Amin resigned from the Texas RE Board on August 4, 2017.  Dr. Amin has been a respected member of the Texas RE Board and committees since the formation of Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. in 2010.  "Based on my other on-going professional commitments," Amin said, "it is with a heavy heart that I resign from my position on the Texas RE Board.  It has been an honor and privilege to work with all of you. I am confident that Texas RE will continue its mission of ensuring electric reliability in the ERCOT region."

Texas RE President and CEO Lane Lanford said: "We appreciate Dr. Amin's service on the Texas RE Board and his tremendous support of the work that we do.  We value his contributions, including serving a term as Board Chair and presenting at two of our Standards & Compliance Workshops.  We wish him well in his future endeavors."
