System Planning Impacts from Distributed Energy Resources Working Group (SPIDERWG) Kickoff Meeting
Texas RE is hosting the NERC System Planning Impacts from Distributed Energy Resources Working Group (SPIDERWG) Kickoff Meeting on January 8-9, 2019. The meeting will be held at the Texas RE Conference Center at 805 Las Cimas Parkway, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78746.
SPIDERWG is a NERC working group focusing on developing industry recommendations and guidelines for system planning, modeling, and reliability assessments with increasing penetrations of DER. Some of the primary focuses of SPIDERWG will be DER data collection, modeling practices, model improvements, and steady-state and dynamic simulation techniques. This effort builds off of the work accomplished by the NERC Distributed Energy Resources Task Force (DERTF), and addresses some of the key goals in the ERO Enterprise Operating Plan.
