Mitigation Planning FAQs

When do I submit a mitigation plan for a violation?
A mitigation plan can be submitted at any time but must be submitted within 30 days after being served the Notice of Alleged Violation if the violation and/or penalty is not being contested.

Where do I submit my mitigation plan?
Mitigation Plans should be completed and submitted in webCDMS External Link.

What if I have already mitigated the violation, do I still need to submit a mitigation plan?
Yes, a mitigation plan should still be completed and submitted to Texas RE.  There is a section on the form to indicate the mitigation plan is already completed.

I have completed my mitigation plan: What do I do now?
A certification of completion should be completed in webCDMS. Supporting documentation to show that you have completed the mitigation plan should be submitted to Texas RE.
