Susan Vincent
Corporate Secretary and General Counsel

Susan Vincent joined Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. (Texas RE, formerly Texas Regional Entity) as Director of Legal Affairs in December 2007 and became General Counsel in July 2010. She was approved by the Texas RE Board of Directors as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel in December 2010. Ms. Vincent oversees legal matters, communications, and governmental relations for Texas RE.

Before joining Texas RE, Ms. Vincent was the assistant general counsel for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), where she focused on governance and corporate transactions for the ERCOT legal department for more than four years.

Ms. Vincent was previously an attorney in private practice in Austin, Texas, for 20 years, representing numerous businesses on corporate, franchise, trademark, and commercial litigation matters.

Ms. Vincent earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 1981 and a juris doctorate from the University of Texas in 1983. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1984.
