King Farias
Director, Information Technology and Security

Mr. Farias joined Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. (Texas RE) as Senior Project Manager in November 2009 and was promoted to Director of Information Technology and Security in November 2010. As Senior Project Manager, he was responsible for the separation of IT, cyber security and physical security for Texas RE and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT). 

Mr. Farias has an extensive background in the Information Technology and Security industries with broad experience in both public and private sectors. Before joining Texas RE, he held senior positions in leading technology firms and managed large projects and programs.
