To ensure the reliability of the bulk power system in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) region, Texas Regional Entity monitors and enforces compliance with reliability standards for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation; develops regional standards; and monitors and reports on compliance with the ERCOT Protocols.
